On December 6, the Artificial Intelligence and robot Industry Development seminar of "Intelligent Creation Infinite Intelligent Future" was held in Tongling, Anhui Province. The conference aims to focus on the development of artificial intelligence and robotics industry, explore the new path of industrial transformation and upgrading and "double chain" integration enabled by artificial intelligence and robotics technology, create an industrial innovation exchange platform, and build an industrial innovation ecosystem.

Xiao Zongjian, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Tongling Economic Development Zone, introduced the development of Tongling Economic development Zone from three aspects: introduction of the park, industrial ecology and industrial support. As an industrial and mining city growing together with New China, Tongling Economic Development Zone has a strong industrial foundation, and was promoted to the national economic and technological Development Zone in 2011. Today, Tongling Economic Development Zone has five tens of billions of enterprises, 29 foreign-funded enterprises, five listed enterprises, in the electronic information materials and semiconductor industry has a strong momentum of development.

LAN Xuguang, professor of the School of Artificial Intelligence of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, delivered a keynote speech on the Challenge of Embodied Intelligence: World Model Construction and Causal Reasoning. He started with the establishment of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics of Xi 'an Jiaotong University by Academician Zheng Nanning, and introduced the development of artificial intelligence in the past 30 years. He shared relevant research on the global development of artificial intelligence, referring to the awarding of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physics to two AI pioneers, he said, "This is a disruptive technology, every industry in the future will use artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence is a huge empowering technology."
Wang Tao, a researcher at the School of Computer Science at Peking University, explained his sharing theme "Robots are a bridge linking the physical world and the digital world" from the three topics of "cutting-edge development of AI technology in the digital world", "Robots in the physical world" and "a new generation of intelligent robots: From the digital world to the physical world". He pointed out that the new generation of intelligent robots will reflect the latest models and algorithms such as cognition, reasoning and prediction in the digital world to the intelligent robot services, cooperation and interaction in the physical world; Learning and training on a super-scale and beyond real conditions in the digital world, adapting and fine-tuning in the physical world. Torch Star Technology Tongling R & D and production base is the first intelligent robot R & D and production base established in Tongling City under the support of governments at all levels in Anhui Province and Tongling City. It is an important step for Tongling City to focus on advantageous industries, expand and strengthen advanced manufacturing industry, promote high-end, intelligent and green development of industry, and lead high-quality development with "intelligent manufacturing". The R & D production base, with an annual capacity of 50,000 units and a total area of 6,700 square meters, started work in February 2024, went into full production in June, and the exhibition hall was completed and opened to visitors in November.
