5G application scale development promotion meeting was held in Beijing
On December 5, the 5G application scale Development Promotion Conference was held in Beijing. The meeting summarized the achievements of 5G development in the past five years, and made systematic deployment of the key work of 5G application scale development in the next stage. Up to now, China has completed and opened more than 4.1 million 5G base stations, and 5G networks continue to extend to rural areas, realizing "5G for all townships." 5G has been integrated into 80 national economic categories, the number of application cases has exceeded 100,000, and the breadth and depth of application are constantly expanding, which is profoundly changing the way of life, production mode and governance.
It will lay a solid foundation for building a strong cyber country and promoting Chinese-style modernization. First, adhere to the systematic promotion, and further gather the synergy of industrial policies. Strengthen departmental collaboration, encourage relevant departments to deeply explore the needs of the industry, and promote the digital transformation of the 5G application service industry. Strengthen the linkage between central and local governments, support local governments in combining development characteristics, and promote the large-scale development of 5G applications according to local conditions. Second, we will adhere to precise policies and further enhance basic support capacity. Adhere to market demand-oriented, strengthen technological research and standard development, improve the industrial system, continue to enhance the supply capacity of 5G technology industry, and form a positive cycle of "research and development, application, iterative optimization, and re-application". Third, adhere to coordinated development and further stimulate the vitality of application ecology. Information and communication enterprises, industry application enterprises, and upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial chain should deepen cooperation, strengthen leading and echelon collaboration, integrate innovation resources, strengthen supply and demand docking, and gather industrial forces to drive upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to jointly create a 5G industry application ecology.
